How do I know if you’re a reputable business?

How do I know you will honor the quote on your website?

As long as your games are in working order and match the conditions you selected, the quote will be honored. Including packaging and/or original manuals may increase the amount of money you receive. You can contact us and ask us about a specific game’s extra’s value. If the value of your game changes between the time you get your quote and we receive your game, you will receive the higher of the two values. The listed price is for up to three copies of the same game; if more copies are sent, the prices for the additional copies may change.

What’s the difference between a game that is in ‘Poor’, ‘Good’, and ‘Like New’ conditions?

Items that are ‘Like New’ should include everything that originally came with it. This means that all manuals, cases, etc. should be included. The disc or cartridge should also be in pristine shape with no scratches, scuffs, stickers coming up, writing, etc.

Items that are ‘Good’ should include the case and manual if it’s a CD/DVD/Bluray. There should also be very few scuffs and scratches. Cartridges don’t have to include the box or manual but the sticker should be secure and there shouldn’t be any writing on it. Consoles should include all of the original pieces (AC Adapter, RF Switch, RCA Cord, Controller, etc.) but you don’t need the box or manual.

Items that are ‘Poor’ can have scratches, scuffs, stickers coming up, etc. as long as they work. They don’t have to have anything included with them. Consoles, however, should include all of the original pieces (AC Adapter, RF Switch, RCA Cord, Controller, etc.). If consoles are missing any pieces, money will be deducted based on how much it costs to repurchase the missing pieces. Discs without cases are accepted but the discs need to be secured and shouldn’t be loose in an envelope or box.

Can you explain exactly how the process works?

You add games to your selling cart, then you check out. After you finish, you’ll receive an e-mail and a link to a packing slip. Include that packing slip with your order when you ship your games. Once we receive your games, we’ll either send you a check or deliver your money through Paypal. If you sell more than $30.00 worth of games, we’ll also credit whatever shipping costs that you had up to $2.00 per game.

Do I have to have the original case/manual for the game?

No. You do not have to have the original case or manual with your game; however, if you have the original manual, we will give you an additional $0.25 and if you have the original case, we’ll give you another $0.25. The one exception to this is computer games which require a code to work. If these are not included, your games will be refused and returned to you.

Do you buy used consoles?

We buy all handheld consoles. We only buy large consoles if you’re selling us at least $30.00 worth of games. If you’d like to know how much we’ll offer for a console, send us an e-mail.

Does buy retro games?

We have tens of thousands of games in our database. Many of those games are vintage. If you find the game in our database, we buy it. If you can’t find the game in our database, you can send us a game request and we’ll do our best to add it to the database.

Does buy accessories and consoles?

Unfortunately, we don’t usually buy accessories and consoles. However, if you have a special edition or something that you think we may be interested in just let us know and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I get my money?

We offer two options for receiving your money: Instant transfer through PayPal OR Money Order or Check through USPS.
